During his 20-year sports industry career, Alexis GROS-PIRON has worked with every edition of the Olympic Games from Sydney 2000 to Los Angeles 2028, as well as other notable events including Wimbledon, The French Open, and The US Open.

Alexis garnered his first professional experiences from the sponsor, organizer and agency sides of the industry before cultivating his skills throughout his current tenure with the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Today, Alexis holds the position Head of Hospitality, Ticketing & Spectator Experience at the IOC where he is responsible for overseeing the best interests of Olympic fans and their experience with the Olympic Games. In addition, Alexis oversees all the Olympic Games’ stakeholder and consumer Hospitality & Ticketing programmes which represent an approximate $1B business directly supporting the funding of the Games, as well as core rights delivery components for all the Olympic Family partners. He is also responsible for overseeing the City Activities & Lives Sites programmes which provide hundreds of on-site engagement opportunities for the public within the host territories. To ensure the successful delivery of these programmes, Alexis works with all the host Organising Committees and Host Cities, supported directly by teams of local and international experts, providers and volunteers.

Alexis joined the IOC in 2003 after working for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games and previously for Jack Morton Worldwide in Paris and London supporting IBM leverage their worldwide partnership with the IOC for the Sydney 2000 Games.

Alexis is American, French and Swiss. He holds two BA degrees from the University of North Carolina as well as a business certificate from UNC’s Kenan Flagler Business School. Alexis played soccer for the Division 1 nationally top ranked University of North Carolina men’s soccer club and was an Atlantic Coast Conference Scholar Athlete Award recipient.

Alexis is married with 2 children and lives in France near Geneva, Switzerland.
