2019 Bio:

Camilo Durana is Senior Vice President of Properties and Events at Major League Soccer and Soccer United Marketing. He leads the management of business partnerships with U.S. Soccer, the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol, CONCACAF and Liga MX, as well as MLS League Office operations in Canada. His department spearheads the development and promotion of MLS/SUM events and commercial platforms, such as the MLS All-Star Game, Mexican National Team U.S. Tour, Campeones Cup, the Concacaf Gold Cup and eMLS Cup.

Prior to joining MLS/SUM, Durana served as the Global Director of Budweiser Sports and Entertainment at AB InBev, leading the development the Budweiser brand’s global sports and entertainment campaigns in 80+ countries. Programming included the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the FA Cup and the launch of Budweiser’s first global music campaign. Prior to that, he helped build the Multicultural Marketing practice at Octagon Worldwide, consulting for a U.S. and Latin America-based client roster focused on the U.S. Hispanic market.

Originally from Colombia, Camilo and his wife Kimberly reside in New York City with their son Henrik and dog Thumbelina. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he attended as a Morehead-Cain Scholar.
