2021 Bio:

Cindy Parlow Cone is the President of the United States Soccer Federation. She is also the Director of Coaching for North Carolina FC, a youth soccer club. Cindy also works as the Director of International Outreach for Goals for Girls, a non-profit organization that connects girls from different backgrounds with their peers around the world to address social and health challenges through soccer. Previously, Cindy was a 9-year member of the United States Women’s National Soccer Team, winning 2 Olympic Gold medals (’96, ’04), an Olympic silver medal (’00), and a Women’s World Cup Championship (’99). She has coached at the collegiate level, winning 4 national championships in 7 years (’06, ’08, ’09, ’12). At the professional level, Cindy is the youngest coach (man or woman) to ever win an American professional sports championship (in any sport) as the Portland Thorns head coach in 2013.
