2019 Bio:

Janet Duch is currently serving as the Team President of the New York Guardians of the XFL.

Duch came to the XFL in March of 2019 from On Location Experiences, a leading premium experiential hospitality business, where she served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications since 2016. In her role, Duch delivered strategic marketing solutions to grow overall revenue and oversee branding and communications across On Location’s 150+ rights holders partnerships, including the NFL and NCAA. Duch launched On Location’s first ever on-sale campaign for premium Super Bowl ticket packages in 2016 and recently played a key role in the launch of the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest at State Farm Arena, which generated over $11M in gross ticket sales, 41K attendees, 9B media impressions and was live streamed to over 4.5M viewers on Twitter.

Prior to On Location, Duch served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for MSG Sports, for six years, overseeing marketing for the NHL’s New York Rangers and NBA’s New York Knicks. Duch served as a key architect in developing and managing the brand identities of both teams and all of related game entertainment, merchandise, community relations, social, digital and fan engagement initiatives and programs. She directed go-to-market ticketing, sales, subscriber retention and marketing campaign strategies helping drive revenue growth through direct marketing and audience segmentation efforts for each.

Over her 18 year tenure with the Madison Square Garden, Duch grew through the ranks of the organization and handled a wide variety of responsibilities. Among her key accomplishments are the launch of “WELCOME TO RANGERSTOWN” campaign; season ticket member relocation strategies as part of the Garden’s Transformation, spearheading the team’s involvement in the 2014 NHL Stadium Series, the 2012 NHL Winter Classic and hosting a series of groundbreaking events throughout the 2014 and 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs, including the unveiled “RangersTown Hockey House,” a first-ever free indoor hockey and entertainment festival which drew more than 80,000 visitors. When the team advanced to the 2014 Stanley Cup Final, it held a free outdoor viewing party and fan fest at New York City’s iconic Bryant Park for the series opening game in Los Angeles, which drew more than 14,000 people to watch.

Duch is a Sports Business Journal, Forty Under 40 Recipient, Class of 2015, and a Forty Under 40 Recipient, Marketing & Communications, Leaders in Sports, Class of 2015.

Duch has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a student athlete on the volleyball team. She currently lives in New Jersey.
