2018 Bio:

Patrick leads a group of talented individuals that manage the day-to-day relationships between the sanctioning body (NASCAR) and the drivers and teams from a strategic marketing perspective. A key component of Patrick’s role is to develop resources to support NASCAR’s No. 1 asset – The Drivers – as part of an on-going Driver Star Power initiative. Those resources include brand development, social/digital best practices, media integrations, media training and driver appearance optimization. Additionally, the group provides development support and resources to the teams with their marketing and sales strategies/tactics in an effort to facilitate enhanced visibility, sponsorship and revenue growth critical to NASCAR’s ongoing success and evolution.

Prior to his current role, Patrick served as Director, Series Marketing at NASCAR managing the entitlement partners (Nationwide Insurance and Camping World) for two of NASCAR’s national series. His other experience includes an agency stint at Driver’s Choice Marketing and managing Driver/Sponsorship accounts for two of the top teams in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (Roush Fenway Racing and Chip Ganassi Racing).

Patrick graduated in ’96 from UNC with a B.A., Management and Society (formerly Industrial Relations). He currently resides in Sherrills Ford, N.C. (Lake Norman) with wife Ashley and three crazy children; Bennett (8), Emory (6) and McLain (4).
